Resumen:
The present research considers the various possibilities of management models applicable in the current context of the globalized society, emphasizing the importance of discussing the necessity of the ethical values inherent to the management process of the private institutions of higher education. In this sense, the current study has maintained the emphasis on the analysis of private institutions because they operate at a more competitive level of the current market and also because of the importance of applying a management model based on ethical values In organizations that work in the educational sector of society. Considering the aforementioned context, the main theme addressed by this research was to analyze the ethical challenges in the management of private institutions of higher education. In this sense, subjects related to the contribution of ethics to the training of the managers of the private institutions of higher education were discussed, as well as the investigation of the ethical challenges encountered by them in exercising their role of manager seeking a quality education. Therefore, the main objective of this research is to investigate the ethical challenges encountered by managers of private institutions of higher education. Following this north, during the present study the management models that are being developed in the private institutions of higher education were analyzed. Reflections were made on the importance of adopting ethical values in the environment of the organizations that operate in the contemporary globalized market. At the end of the research, an analysis of an applied case study carried out in an HEI was carried out in order to compare the ethical values practiced by the managers of private higher education institutions with the ideal models indicated in the administrative literature, in order to identify which Administrative aspects can be influenced by ethical behavior in administrative management.
