Abstract:
The goal of this research is to analyze the issue of infant vulnerability, the vulnerability of the neglected family and the negligent family. With this, it intends to review the issue with regard to the system of Brazilian public policies relations, which tend to make resources available to less favored classes, that is, to the needy, in need of the benefits granted to them. The methodology used is bibliographic, highlighting the analysis of the Statute of Children and Adolescents (ECA) and the Federal Constitution. The studies and publications consulted revealed that the situation of childhood is very vulnerable, at risk, in all environmental and social aspects around it, including with great occurrence in their own family, community, school, street and church. Also observed was an urgent need to find a way to give theological sustainability with regard to Christian education, morals, ethics, care, protection of children and resilience. It can be argued that the hearts of children and adolescents are of those who come first. It can be compared to fertile ground for the planting of values, such as the love of family, coexistence in society and life itself in the course of childhood. For this reason, it is clear that it is not appropriate to neglect these little ones. Moreover, it can be said that the center of every theological structure is established around and from the child. In the Holy Bible, in the Book of Matthew 19:14, Jesus said, "Let the little ones come to me; do not try to stop them; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." This Word of Jesus warns by showing weaknesses, and places children among the most vulnerable groups of Jesus' day; in an exemplary way, he dedicated love and affection to the little ones.
