Abstract:
Axiology is understood as the construction of ethnic-racial, cultural and religious values in education. It has as reference the common historical moment of the 500 years of Luther and the 500 years of the presence of the Black people in Brazil. An approach that recognizes and values the educational practices in the history of Lutheranism and points to Afro-descendant values considering the law 10639/03 about the teaching of Africa’s history and Afro-Brazilian Culture. João Cândido and Luiza Mahin have shown a liberating education and the protagonism of students from the analysis of their essays. It is worth highlighting the valorization of Candomblé religiosity and the cultural expressions preserved in orality and in the beauty of the samba with the elements of the belief and culture of the black people, with their actions and knowledge saved by tradition and ancestry that indicate a different model of society and of social formation based on Ubuntu.
