Abstract:
This research analyzes the contribution of a study methodology carried out in Cooperative Learning Cells in the personal and social formation of the graduates from the Escola Estadual de Educação Profissional Amélia Figueiredo de Lavor, located in the municipality of Iguatu – Ceará. The study presents and reflects about an alternative for the problem experienced throughout the years in the educational field by contemporary society, which is the quality of teaching and learning, in the perspective of a significant learning articulated with the principles and resources of the Cooperative Learning developed by the Education Program of Education in Cooperative Cells (PRECE). To do this the research is directed to responding questions such as: 1. Can the adoption of the study methodology of cooperative learning cells in the classroom become one of the important instruments in combatting social discrimination and a motivating factor for learning and for improving the academic performance of the students? 2. To what measure does cooperative learning contribute to the development of the attitudinal competencies of students, collaborating toward positive posture changes? 3. Is the methodology an efficacious strategy when one intends to promote equality of opportunities, responsibility, cooperation and the autonomy of students? For gathering the facts, methodologically, a qualitative and quantitative research was carried out using documental information furnished by the school and a common questionnaire for the public, with questions related to their experience with the methodology. The participation of the informants was authorized through the signing of a Free and Clarified Consent Term (TCLE), in accordance with the Criteria for Ethics in Research with Human Beings described in the Resolution n. 466/2012 – item IV of the National Health Council.
