Abstract:
The dissertation presents contributions about the Week of Creativity (WC) to the training of educators. It is a qualitative research that had as empirical source narratives written by participants of the 2006 WC in log books. The analysis of the empirical material and the construction of the text were are based on contributions from the theological and pedagogical fields. The study highlights three outstanding aspects of the WC. The first aspect regards the movement in education. It emphasizes the importance of involving the whole body; the circle as a space of meeting, exhibition and learning; the disorder as an ingredient that constitutes the human being; and the context as part of the process of teaching-learning. The second aspect presents the learning process as formed by four elements. The first element points to the learning through living together, valuing the difference; the second one focuses on the construction of knowledge as a co-instruction wherein learning takes place through different experiences; the third one tells about the importance of learning by hearing; and the forth aspect deals the revelations about oneself as well as about the other. The third aspect of the WC presents play as an element that constitutes human being. Laughter, happiness and humor are specially highlighted; the person who coordinates is characterized as co-responsible for joy in the classroom; and it points to the need of keeping awake the child that is present in each human being as a way to experience the enchanting of cooperation, communion and happiness of being and learning together.
