Abstract:
The work in question is intended to describe the historical and conceptual view on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights through its implementation and consolidation in the country. It was thus necessary to study and interpret existing laws to make a connection with educational activities teaching about the discipline of Religious Education. The theme of Human Rights and Religious Education Building for a Citizenship aims at conducting classes that can generate benefits for learners in the formation of the cultivation of moral and ethical values that will provide a true citizenship. To address the problem we used the qualitative method, literature search, and document analysis for historical definition of the process of Human Rights in Brazil, the trajectory of religious education in public schools and conceptual process on Citizenship.
