Resumo:
This is a bibliographical research that presents the theme of Generation Z and its relationship with religion. The general objective of this study is to reflect on the characteristics of centennials, at personal and social levels, in addition to verifying the correlations between new media and the construction of a digital spirituality. Predictions that religion would disappear from modern life may be wrong because religion, in the digital age, has taken on a new form. At the same time, some events that have upset the world in recent years have a religious origin. At the same time, the greatest spiritual issues and trends today cannot be fully addressed and understood without attention ¨to cyberspace. The research is divided into three chapters. The first chapter deals with centennials
themselves; the second chapter discusses cyberculture and its consequences in society and the third chapter is divided into two parts: the first part deals with introductory questions and the last part presents the relationship between spirituality and digital life. A reflection on the new reality of spirituality is the purpose of this work, which emphasizes implications for both the academic field and the ecclesiastical environment with a view to future research and concerns.
