Abstract:
The subject of the work, here being discussed, concerns Religious Diversity, and the purpose of this research is to present the importance of proposing inter-religious dialogues in school contexts of the public state scope, aiming at minimizing the problem of disrespect for religiosities of different groups, which is quite noticeable in these educational spaces. Such an event is identified through intolerant attitudes on the part of some people who are part of the school community, whether they are teachers, students, fathers and mothers, employees, among other people participating in the educational environment. It is known that the school, most of the time, reproduces the values that society imposes as sacred, true and unique, and this situation is noticeable when aspects related to prejudice and discrimination, in general, are visibly observed in this place, taking as examples the exclusionary behaviors of the aforementioned people, who subjugate the religion or religiosity of others. Therefore, in this research work, the focus is on a theoretical bibliographic review with a qualitative approach, in an investigative process, in which there is a dialogic correlation with works by authors such as Cecchetti, Hall, Junqueira, Locke, among others, that emphasize the idea of respect for Religious Diversities; authors such as May, Marchetto, Kronbauer, Sanchez, who bring contributions on religious pluralism and authors such as Alves, Boff, Crestani, Marcuse, who assert the importance of interreligious dialogue in educational institutions and in society in a general way. The central theme of this dissertation revolved around Religious Intolerance, which is one of the most excluding aspects, which can be understood as a grudge of Brazilian social reality and which ends up flowing intensely into the school. It can then be seen that, in the educational environment, issues related to Religious Diversities were never treated with due care, where only traditional religions were valued and highlighted, to the detriment of others that were considered minor. In fact, school contexts reflect the interests of society, which in turn are mainly linked to political issues. From the observation of religious disrespect in school contexts, the proposal of this dissertation arose, which aimed to raise knowledge and recognition about the Religious Diversities existing in our country, through inter-religious dialogues, in order to minimize the climate of Religious Intolerance, as well as to promote the appreciation of this vast range of religiosities and religions in the current Brazilian social reality. In turn, inter-religious dialogues would be fostered through motivating texts, from literary genres (lyrics to literary songs, poems, poetry, short stories, chronicles and novels) and non-literary (lyrics to non-literary songs, news, articles and advertisements), among other textual supports, in order to systematize the proposal of the work evidenced here.
