Abstract:
Psychic suffering of religious leaders is the object of recent studies in theology, psychology, medicine and other sciences focused on this field of human knowledge. Therefore, this research, which is divided into three chapters, in addition to the introduction and conclusion, will deal with issues related to the psychic suffering of pastors of the Assemblies of God: the types of psychic suffering; its data and statistics; the ministerial routine of the pastors; the important support networks in the fight against psychic suffering. The research will analyze definitions of terms such as psychological distress, guilt, burnout syndrome, depression and suicide, seeking to identify potential causes and healthy preventions that could provide quality of life for affected pastors.
