Abstract:
The present work aims to present what the planning, monitoring and evaluating of missionary projects consists of and how the planning, monitoring and evaluation of missionary projects takes place in the Evangelical Church of Lutheran Confession in Brazil - IECLB, based on the guiding document for the planning of Congregations, called: Mission of God Our Passion – the base text for the IECLB Missionary Action Plan 2008-2012, and on the use of the Project Management Applicative as a facilitating tool for project planning, monitoring and evaluation. It presents the IECLB, its understanding of mission, its foundations, how it is structured and what are the competencies of each instance in their task of proclaiming the Gospel. The church's missionary action plans, as promoters of congregation building and how these have influenced the dynamics of missionary projects over time. Planning, monitoring and evaluation as a set of tools that are interrelated with a common purpose, that influence each other and that, articulated, produce better results than each one of them separately. These tools are essential for the qualification of the management processes of missionary projects at the IECLB.
