Abstract:
Among the objectives sought, are to analyze the contribution of aesthetics in the quality of life of women undergoing cancer treatment, understanding their emotional and spiritual weaknesses that will directly influence their self-esteem. To know the biological issues that involve the disease and the procedural occurrences of the treatment, so as to be able to know what really bothers, and if it does bother in the appearance during this phase and what has been done to mitigate these issues. Thus, the current research in the search for understanding the real needs of women affected by cancer is justified. The techniques aimed at this woman are aimed at makeup and something that disguises hair loss, but is that really a concern at this moment? It is interesting to look at aesthetics from another angle, valuing not only beautification, but well-being and quality of life full time. We conclude by observing how important the work of aesthetics has been through alternative therapies, to provide quality of life before, during and after treatment. In addition, we can see that alternative therapies have an important contribution from theology, since it seeks physical, mental and spiritual balance.
