Resumen:
This dissertation focuses on the theme of Ethics in School Management, where we propose to address ethics in school management as the main factor in generating positive results for the researched institution, taking as a field of appreciation the reality of the Maria Daurea Lopes High School, located in the José de Alencar District in Iguatu, in the interior of the State of Ceará. The proposed investigation radius constitutes the knowledge of how school management is carried out or not based on the professional ethics that education professionals must present. That is, which instruments can point out this relationship to us. Based on the aforementioned focus of investigation, a survey of conceptions and comments by authors was made, among which the names of Vygotsky, Freire, Paro, Lück and Sander can be cited. In this way, we started to build a theoretical base in relation to the theme under study, characterizing this first moment of the research as bibliographic. In a second moment, it starts to structure a philosophical basis for the study, and the conception of Aristoteles, Immanuel Kant, Jean Paul Sartre, Marx and others in relation to the concept of ethics and its application in education is appreciated. With theoretical elements about school management and a theoretical foundation, the investigation reaches the practical field that takes effect from an analysis of the reality of the aforementioned teaching unit. From the readings of documents such as the Brazilian National Education Legislation (Federal Constitution of 1988 and Law of Directives and Bases of National Education - LDB nº. 9394/96) and of school documents such as the Pedagogical Political Project, SPAECE database at CAED / UFJF, observations in the researched teaching unit, it was possible to have a much deeper view of what ethical principles were applied in this educational institution. With this in mind, it is important to make it clear that the research is primarily of a documentary nature, given that the proposed study has as reference the reading of official documents and those produced by the school, which favored arriving at the final considerations and pointing out the need for the continuation of the study in future projects, possibly with a doctorate, where we intend to expand the range of observation and research and, certainly, the analysis of instruments used.
