Resumen:
The inclusive movement in Brazil has been gradually increasing and, as a result, there is a broad search for the inclusion of people with disabilities. The present work understands sports, especially futsal, as one of the ways to include these people in the social context, since the practice of futsal for people with disabilities is already emerging with a new meaning, making the sport one of the most sought after in Brazil. The aim of this research is to investigate the contribution of sports practice in Futsal modality to the social inclusion of people with disabilities from the Association of Parents and Friends of the Exceptional - APAE, of the city of Iguatu, CE. The methodology has a quantitative character, with an exploratory and descriptive approach. We emphasize the unanimous position of those responsible for the people with disabilities and the institution's teacher on the benefits of futsal practice in improving behavior, specifically in relationships with their teachers, colleagues, family and friends. Those responsible also reported that they realize that students with disabilities develop a very trusting relationship with the futsal teacher.
