Abstract:
The goal of this research is to analyze the conduct of the Brazilian companies of the international logistics sector, in the current context, from the perspective of ethical principles. We sought to present the competitive global world where, apparently, profit is often above ethical values. One observes a growing tendency of increase in the level of demands of citizens who aim to buy products and services from companies which seek to value ethics. A company that is considered ethical is one which respects moral principles, acting correctly and with honesty toward all those involved, called stakeholders, such as, for example, suppliers, staff and clients. The potential contributions, with regard to ethics in the companies, take into consideration certain moral values in the behavior of the human being inserted in society. Thus, the professional involved in the processes of management should prioritize and improve the ethical principles in his or her work. The research at hand consists in the bibliographic survey of the main concepts about Ethics in International Business Logistics, as well as in the analysis of empirical cases, demonstrating the fundamental relevance of ethics and the need for its insertion in the main values of a company.
