Resumen:
The diakonia of Jesus shown through his teachings and attitudes demonstrates his caring for the less favored groups of his time, especially those who were at the base of the social pyramid. Based on this, the goal of this paper is to analyze the main diaconal practices and teachings of Jesus the goal of which were to serve as instruments of social inclusion in his time and their possible consequences if applied to current days. For this, we used the methodology which consisted in a bibliographic review resulting from consulting the Bible, books, scientific articles, periodicals and material captured on Internet. The main results obtained show that Jesus preached an inclusive and imperative message in the sense of calling his disciples to invest efforts toward the goal of eliminating the social inequalities of that time and that the current society is quite similar in many points to the one Jesus combatted, with various groups of unassisted people made up especially of children, the poor, the sick, the elderly, the illiterate, etc. They also show that a good part of the principles defended by Jesus are already included in the Federal Constitution, needing their effective application so that the Kingdom of God can be established among us.
