Abstract:
The present work of the professional master's degree aims to ascertain through the presentation of the conciliar documents referring to catechesis and other bibliographies, to what extent catechesis can play its transforming role, in the face of the new paradigms that sustain the current society. In the second chapter, considerations will be made about catechesis as the education of the faith. Focusing on its main agent: the catechist. In this way we will highlight your person and your permanent formation, attending to the fundamental dimensions of your being, knowing, knowing how to do and knowing how to live. The third and final chapter, in response to the challenges of evangelization today, especially in the transmission of the Christian faith and with the intention of elaborating a pastoral formation subsidy with a catechumenal inspiration, will present a methodological itinerary, modeled on the catechetical process used by Jesus, in the approach taken to the disciples at Emmaus (Luke 24, 13-35) and the Samaritan woman (Jn 4: 5-42).
