Resumen:
The crossing between Religious Teaching and politics in education context is undoubtedly an
essential theme for social sciences. The present research will serve as pedagogic support for
teachers of Religious Teaching and for other professionals who work directly on the resocialization
of children and teenagers who live in a situation of social vulnerability. The first
part approaches the historicity of Religious Teaching in Brazil, specially, in the State of
Goiás, presenting curricular aspects of the discipline and teachers' formation. The second part
approaches kids and teenagers who live in a risk situation and shows some social aspects
linked to street kids history, delineating the role of the family and social and ethical
conceptions. It culminates in legal aspects. In sequence, the research ends exposing the
collected data in three areas: the Religious Teaching; the problematization of children and
teenagers who live in a situation of social vulnerability and the reintegration process of these
kids.
