Resumen:
This thesis proposes to identify the insecurities pastors have with regard to psychologists/psychiatrists and how they can influence the members of their religious communities, when these need psychological or psychiatric help. Based on a bibliographic review, themes such as the History of Psychology throughout time, its relation with religion and theology, and the difference between Psychotherapy and Poimenics were dealt with. Taboos on both sides were identified, raising possible causes and consequences and possibilities of cooperation between Psychology/psychotherapy and Theology/poimenics.
