Abstract:
This paper presents a descriptive-exploratory study about the Council of the Rights of the Child and of the Adolescent in the municipality of Iguatu/CE, located in the Center South region of the state. Its goal is to analyze if this Council, as an educational space of social inclusion and as a public space, can promote and stimulate the involvement of civil society, committing it collectively in the process of democratic administration and effective citizenship of the subjects. The research is characterized as qualitative, being that the results will be obtained through a documental analysis and collection of data done through questionnaires with open and closed questions. The analysis of the data points out the profile of the Councilors, the manner of administration and the level of involvement of these, as well as that of the subjects of the communities and the educational actions carried out by them. Besides this, it also analyzes the planning, the evaluation and the level of integration of these actions and in what way they result in a process of social inclusion through an educational process.
