This research seeks to demonstrate the procedures adopted by the professors of the UFAM in the coordination of the university extension projects of the Programa de Atividade Curricular de Extensão (PACE) [Extension Curricular Activity Program], as it relates to the application of resources received as project coordination scholarship deed, seeking to understand the purpose of this resource, the legal requirements for its application and financial accounting, the cultural, ethical and socioeconomic principles which influence in the decision of how to use these resources. The university extension project originates in the undergraduate program, thus it is at this level where most of the actions researched are found. The goal is to investigate the ethical management of the financial resources designated to the projects of the PACE, granted as scholarship titles for coordination, discern the main options for expenditures on costs and capital carried out with these resources between the years of 2006 and 2012, highlighting the destination of the material at the end of the project, with emphasis on the ethical and legal aspects recommended for the material. Thus this research is a report about the use of public funds in a modality of university extension projects with emphasis on the ethical perspective, highlighting these intrinsic values of their coordinators.
