Abstract:
This study aims to analyze, through participant observation, the Tradeway company, which offers services in foreign commerce. Through this observation ethical principles were detected which guide the organization such as trust, responsibility, commitment, care, honesty, team work and pro-activity. Within the theoretical dimensions concepts of ethics, professional ethics, organizations, organizational culture, service companies were dealt with so as to come to the results regarding the observations carried out in the daily life of the company. Therefore, in order to carry out this study the analysis methodology used was participant observation and documental analysis. It was evident that some of the ethical theories studied such as ethics of convictions, responsibility and virtues are present in the company to administrate and carry out the proposed services. Another point touched on was the professional competency of the team to carry out the technical works with excellence. The managers of Tradeway, who are the founding members, demonstrated knowledge about the ethical principles and they act according to their convictions. This study does not end with these reflections since it is a current theme within organizations and needs to be deepened in further studies. As a suggestion to the Tradeway company, the implantation of a code of conduct and ethics is pointed out.
