Resumo:
The goal of this paper is to investigate with bibliographic research, based on different perspectives, the phenomenon of revealing oneself through the other in the beginning of married life. It intends to identify in what ways the beginning of this life can intensify the process of revealing oneself through the other, besides verifying how the behavioral differences in the beginning of the life as a couple can make the process of revealing oneself through the other difficult. The search was to analyze how this process can minimize the estrangement with the other. The first chapter deals with the love relationship and the multiplicities of love. In the second chapter a survey was done about the beginning of life as a couple; and the last chapter brings the potentialities of revealing oneself through the other in the relationship with the other. The results showed that it is not enough to think only on what can help in the conjugal vicissitudes, but that it is necessary to put into practice the desires of each. Thus, there is no difference which is above wanting to be together, if this is the goal of the couple, there are no difficulties which cannot be overcome in communion and there is no unity which cannot be a constructor of duality. The conclusion is that empathy, love, otherness, companionship and desire are attributes of marriage and revealing oneself through the other is a condition for the existence of the couple.
