Resumo:
The research concerns a bibliographic analysis about the theme spirituality within
enterprises and seeks to comprehend it, in its relevance, through a theological view on
spirituality. The research is restricted to the theme of spirituality within enterprises in
the Brazilian context, and the bibliographic material of revision consists of the
magazines Exame, Revista da Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing e Revista
Gv-Executivo, in addition to some articles from the Internet. The first chapter comprises
an exploratory revision about the theme spirituality within enterprises in terms of
conceptions and seeks to comprehend its relevance and intentionality in the business
arena. In the second chapter, based on the thoughts of the theologian and philosopher
Paul Tillich (1886-1965), we develop a comprehension about spirituality as a scope and
as an aim of the effectuation of life in the dimension of the human spirit, according to
the principles of integration, creativeness and trascendency of life, and its effectuation
in the moral, cultural and religious acts of the human beings; an whole spirituality is
constituted. In the conclusion, the main ideas from the first and second chapters are
recalled in order to raise some possibilities and limitations of spirituality within
enterprises through a theological perspective.
