Resumen:
This study discusses the postmodern ethics by contemporary social realities, introducing Christian principles as a possibility of social practice, able to corroborate to the construction of an ethic focused on the current social realities. The first chapter seeks to define the concept of postmodern society, discussing the basis of society such as family, culture, technology and current aspects of modern capitalism. The second chapter presents a discussion around the sphere of Christianity, addressing aspects of Christian principles such as ethics, values and culture, presenting a social reality encompassed by Christianity as the ground for the reconfiguration of contemporary social issues, pointing Christianity as a lifestyle that can contribute to the postmodern social relationships, based on Christian values and principles of generosity, equality, care and concern for one s fellows, enabling a reconstruction of social identity and culture, focused on enhancing the human being as a basic principle of all social relations.
