Resumen:
This study aims at analyzing the possible alternative methodologies based on the
utilization of the Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs), as well as
carrying out a reflection about learning difficulties with an emphasis on the
perspective of the care of children with special educational needs, thus stimulating
the exchange of information seeking to construct a collective and shared knowledge.
Thus, so as to contemplate the above goal, research was carried out as an
exploratory study, through carrying out an investigation by means of a semistructured
questionnaire with open questions, applied to the Database of the
Municipal Education Department of the Municipality of Bagé/RS, in the base year of
2011, as well as to the Municipal Education Plan. To support the research
bibliographical references were used of renowned authors and researchers on the
theme such as González, Delou, Montoan, Ribeiro and Baumel, Libâneo, Demo,
among others. In this way, one includes in this context, the need for a fresh look at
this theme. That is, to rethink transforming pedagogical practices and the resulting
alternative methodologies through the use of the ICTs directed at students with
special educational needs as a way of expanding the human potential.
