This paper aims at analyzing whether and how Human Rights and Religious Education relate. To this end, we carried out a bibliographic and documentary research. Thus, in the first chapter, Human Rights in Socio-Historical Case, submitted a brief clipping on human rights, especially about what led to the emergence of such a debate at the international and national levels, and also discussed the concept "right . In this, also sought to reflect on the idea of human dignity, understanding of human rights in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and also in the National Plan for Human Rights Education. In the second chapter, Anthropological Grounds, spoke up about the idea of the human in the conception of person, making a way back to the founding core and essence of human dignity. In the third chapter, Legal Frameworks and Public Policy Human Rights in Brazil after 1988, addressed to the legal frameworks and public policy Human Rights in Brazil. The regulations were analyzed: 1988 Federal Constitution, Law of Guidelines and Bases of National Education (LDBEN) and Law No. 9394/96, the National Plan for Human Rights Education (PNEDH), among others studied. Also in this chapter, there is the analysis of religious education post-88, the historical elements of Religious Education in different periods since the beginning of this story until today. We analyzed human rights in the National Curricular Parameters Religious Education (PCNER). In the fourth chapter, Religious Education and Its Relation to Human Rights, it is argued, from the analyzes and reflections arising from the major legal, since the Constitution of 1988, and other documents that derive from it (for example, LDB, PCNER, among others analyzed in the study), in the context normative and supply of education of Religious Education (RE) and human rights. In addition, addressed the existence of the interrelationship between human rights and religious education. In this set, there was reflections on religious diversity and human rights, in a context permeated by multiculturalism, secularism, human rights and education. The study carried explained that a vision of human rights is necessary to explain that this should consider the multiple perspectives from different points of views and perceptions in different contexts and times. To educate a perspective that meets the principles of the Federal Constitution (CF/88), the purpose of education and recognizes the human being as a person in his entirety is necessary to recognize that the "spiritual" dimension is seeded in dignity. Concluded that the Human Rights and Religious Education are inextricably interrelated, both in normative legal aspects, in their founding bases.
