Resumen:
This document proposes support for women who, due to the internal violence endured for decades in Colombia, live in mourning, suffering, and pain over the deaths of their children and, in general, their loved ones, caused by the violence exercised by various armed groups. Despite the peace agreements signed and ongoing dialogues with other groups, tragic and violent deaths continue. The Evangelical Lutheran Church of Colombia (IELCO), in its evangelistic, ministerial, and diaconal work, is called to help, support, and accompany these grieving processes with love, bearing in mind the teachings of Jesus, as he did with the widow of Nain found in the Gospel of Luke 7:11-17. Here, Jesus invites us to have compassion, empathy, to support, help, and accompany people going through these tragic and painful moments. By recognizing the need, approaching to help, and offering words of encouragement. This work encourages an initiative of support in small groups so that individuals can process the loss of their loved ones through the stages of grief, associating it with the pedagogical process of the butterfly's metamorphosis cycle, thus being accompanied and understood in their evolving reality.
