Resumen:
This research observes to what extent the counseling that takes place in existing groups in Christian communities, from a biblical perspective and foundation, of the priesthood of all believers and of the Christian community as a space of help, support and care, is a path to resilience. The research is divided into introduction, 3 chapters and conclusion. The first chapter will bring an introduction to the general theme. The second chapter, entitled “Counseling: general concepts and dialogue with the sciences”, will address issues related to counseling: definition, history, objectives, biblical foundation for counseling. The third chapter, called “Counseling in the groups”, will discuss the counseling that takes place among people who attend existing groups in Christian communities, noting, from the general priesthood of all believing people, the fact that Christian communities are spaces of communion, care and welcome, being therapeutic communities; analyzing the role of existing groups in Christian communities and their importance for people and for the communities themselves. The fourth chapter, called “Resilience from counseling” will address the issue of resilience from counseling that takes place among people participating in existing groups in Christian communities; it will bring concepts of resilience, resilience from the Bible, internal and external factors that favor resilient processes, and the contributions of Christian communities to the development and strengthening of resilience. The fifth chapter will bring a conclusion of the research.
