Resumen:
The following research aims to address the life story of the Benedictine nun/abbess Hildegard von Bingen and her first work Scivias in order to understand the theological perspective of a woman in the 12th century. In this intention, the biography of the nun, the meaning of mysticism for the medieval woman, the geographic, cultural, political and religious context of that society and the place that belonged to the woman will be described. Subsequently, the first six visions of the work Scivias referring to the Creator and the Creation will be presented in order to point out theological perspectives of Hildegardian thought, which is a feminine religious reflection in the Middle Ages.
