Resumen:
The modern world is responsible for a multitude of anxious and insecure people and who are condemned to various types of addictive behavior. When we think of addictive behaviors, the idea automatically refers to people who make use of legal or illegal psychoactive substances, however addiction is any recurring and excessive behavior or habit that leads the individual to be a slave to him or herself. This research presents spirituality / faith and the management of thoughts and emotions as a means of coping and resilience in the face of the dangerous behavior of the current generation when, incapable of dealing with conflicts, they throw themselves into destructive thoughts, alcohol and drug consumption and dominated through smartphones, social networks, games, pornography, consumption, they become isolated people, insecure and susceptible to all kinds of psychological and emotional disorders. In addition, the Christian model of spirituality in the figure of Jesus Christ, based on the Holy Bible, is an ideal of resilient behavior and emotional balance for the successful development of a strengthened personality, especially against addictive behaviors.
