Resumen:
The story of Ruth Doris Lemos and her role as a precursor protagonist in the Assembly of God Pentecostal theological education demonstrates the condition of women in the Pentecostal theological context, since so many other Assembly of God women have opened the way in a subordinate but relevant role. The performance of Ruth Doris Lemos, as well as so many other women in the Assembly of God, from yesterday and today, demonstrates the work of women who are invisibilized, but are in the field of theological education, where she becomes a precursor and protagonist. The development of the research provides for different methodological approaches. Bibliographical research will be carried out for the theoretical foundation and discussion of the issue of theological education. With regard to the trajectory of Ruth Doris Lemos, the research will be carried out on two fronts: documentary research and interviews with family members and students. For the interviews, we opted for the methodology of Oral Life History with family members and the Thematic Oral History with students. Although Feminist Theology has been used to question the patriarchalism of Pentecostalism and other religions, these concepts cannot be projected onto Ruth Doris Lemos. Even so, Ruth Doris Lemos was a pioneer woman in Pentecostal theological education, demonstrating the feminine role of the Pentecostal theological formation of the Assemblies of God in Brazil.
