Resumen:
The present study deals with the sexual and reproductive rights and health which are concepts recently elaborated and represent a historic conquest, fruit of the struggle for citizenship and for human and environmental rights. There are some discussions about sexual and reproductive rights as human rights being elements of basic human needs, considering reproduction, sexuality and health as being as important as social, economic and cultural rights. The public policies of assistance for the health of the woman in Brazil began in the 20th century going up to the universalization of the right to free health care with the Constitution of 1988. The implantation of the Programa de Assistência Integral à Saúde da Mulher (PAISM) [Program for Integral Assistance for the Health of the Woman] came as a dividing point between the time when the woman’s only role was to procreate and the time of having rights over her body. The research is characterized, basically as bibliographic regarding means, qualitative and with exploratory ends, the goal of which is to identify contents referring to Sexual and Reproductive Human Rights in the Curricular Matrixes of the Nursing School programs in the subjects in the areas of health of the woman and collective health of the undergraduate programs in nursing. The conclusion is that within the Curricular Matrixes received there exist the themes related to the DHSR, such as family planning, abortion, STDs, AIDS, rights of women, rights of adolescents, humanization, among others.
