Abstract

The research presented here seeks to point out a path of interpretation about salvation in Matthew 7:13-23, which deals with entering heaven independent of the conditions of existence through which the individuals are going through. The theme is dealt with in three stages. In the first stage one seeks to consider the theological aspects in their content and meaning. The exegetical analysis permits penetrating some semantic and contextual particularities related to the theme at hand. In the second part the factors and effects of salvation from the beatitudes up to the text indicated above are the object of attention. In this aspect, the interpretation of the biblical discourses about freedom and the practice of salvation is considered from the perspective of the Evangelical Lutheran tradition and from the Pentecostal context. Also taken into consideration is the theme of salvation in its social-religious aspects. In the last stage, an analysis of the salvation present in the text of Matthew 7:13-14; 15-23 is carried out tying it to the biographic process of a person with disability, (PCD), intertwining the daily experience with the experience of salvation as an exercise of theological updating.
