Ética nas histórias em quadrinhos: uma análise das tiras do álbum “Toda Mafalda”, de Quino

Abstract

The reflection on ethics based on the comic strips of Mafalda, a character of the Argentinian cartoonist Quino, is the theme of this paper. The research is bibliographic, of a qualitative nature, and analyzes the use of the Mafalda comic strips as a pedagogical possibility for reflection of themes related to ethics in the teaching systems. The ethics issues are timeless and universal, and one begins with the hypothesis that the humor strips are efficient as a means of transmitting a message through their reach and through their simple language, ironic and contextualized with the daily happenings of the individuals. Thus, one intends to reflect on what the strips say about ethics, about the collective consciousness of the citizen and examine how the creator thinks of the political imagery and how he socializes it.
