Resumo:
This research proposes an analysis of the theme of experiencing Christian spirituality in childhood. Through a literature review, this study will focus on the ideas of Emotional Intelligence, with authors such as Daniel Goleman, John Gottman, and Joan DeClaire, as well as its connection to spirituality through the perspective of Leonardo Boff. The objective of this research is to investigate the importance of experiencing Christian spirituality in childhood with the support of the family unit. Additionally, the study seeks to demonstrate the relevance of learning emotional intelligence tools as a means to help live out spirituality in everyday life. Furthermore, the research addresses the theme of crises that occur throughout the process of human development across the life cycles and their relationship with spirituality. Through the tools of emotional intelligence and with family support, Christian spirituality becomes a transformative process of faith that unfolds daily through Christian experiences.
