Resumo:
The text traces the history of Brass instruments in the Lutheran Church from the 18th century, highlighting the emergence of the term "Posaunenchor" in 1764. The Missionary Work of Awakening Metals (OMMA) is discussed as a significant movement that united metal groups in the Lutheran communities of IECLB in the 20th century, promoting God's mission through music. The author, with a personal connection to OMMA, emphasizes the importance of rescuing and systematizing its history, given the scarcity of digital records on the subject. The research will focus on analysing documents and minutes from OMMA and IECLB to understand its missionary role and relevance in the history of Lutheran sacred music. A narrative methodology is proposed for the research, with steps such as structure, perspective, tone, function attribution, relational position, and justification before the public. The goal is to comprehend how metal groups experience, perform, and proclaim God's mission.
