A violência contra a mulher no Brasil: uma análise sob a perspectiva da diaconia ecumênica

Abstract

The influence of women in today's society is increasing, their contribution passing from being secondary to being protagonist, even though women have to struggle with the historical legacy of the patriarchal system in their daily lives. Violence, which affects hundreds of thousands of Brazilian women daily, is just one of the consequences of the sexism saturated in our society. In this perspective, we seek to illustrate, in this research, the basic appreciations that permeate the theme, exposing information so that it is possible to understand the reason that justifies the aggressions against women in general, their history and concepts, the quest for a look of care of Christian communities from a perspective of ecumenical diaconal theology, making concrete through the analyses that will be presented that we are not facing a simple contextual problem. The research conclusion postulates that from the ecumenical diakonia, which constitutes an appropriate methodological approach for community and institutional work to combat violence against women, that the problem of violence against women is global, epidemiological, social and historically constructed. trivialized by a theology of the literality of the text of the Bible, structured by Brazilian institutions that descend from the colonial period and invisibilized. The theological foundation of ecumenical diakonia is guided by considerations about sorority and the defense of full life, its elaboration considers the transformation of society, hence, the conceptual basis of the work of social organizations such as FLD and Diakonia is a transforming diakonia. The research methodology was bibliographic-conceptual with a theological bias in dialogue with the social sciences.
