dc.description.abstractThis paper seeks to do an analysis of the Spiritual Renewal Movement (MRE) among the Brazilian Baptists and the emergence the National Baptist Convention (CBN). The research will deal with historical and theological aspects of the National Baptists and will seek, based on the analysis carried out, to conceptualize the denomination within the vast field of Brazilian Protestantism. The research will be divided into three parts. The first part will deal with the general aspects related to the Baptists, their origin, doctrine and insertion on Brazilian soil. The second part will deal with the MRE, their leadership, emphases and disconnection from the Brazilian Baptist Convention which contributed to the creation of the CBN. The third part will analyze the theological aspects of the National Baptists, conceptualizing them as charismatics.pt_BR

dc.description.resumoO presente trabalho busca fazer uma análise do Movimento de Renovação Espiritual (MRE) entre os Batistas Brasileiros e o surgimento da Convenção Batista Nacional (CBN). A pesquisa abordará aspectos históricos e teológicos dos Batistas Nacionais e buscará a partir da análise feita conceituar a denominação dentro do vasto campo do protestantismo brasileiro.
