<link>http://dspace.est.edu.br:8080/jspui/handle/BR-SlFE/1261</link>
The present research examines how the peace agreements that ended the Thirty&#13;
Years’ War (1618-1648) established principles of state sovereignty and confessional&#13;
coexistence, impacting the political configuration of Latin America. The research&#13;
highlights that these agreements, known as the Peace of Westphalia, signed in 1648,&#13;
inaugurated a new conception of religious diversity under confessional states, evolving&#13;
from the Augsburgian concept of “cuius regio, eius religio” to more complex forms of&#13;
interconfessional coexistence. The research work develops a moral epistemology of&#13;
religious tolerance, integrating ideas from modern thinkers such as Locke, Voltaire,&#13;
and Spinoza with contemporary notions of reflection on moral philosophy, such as&#13;
those of Christine Korsgaard on reflective endorsement. The analysis seeks to&#13;
demonstrate the gradual influence of Westphalian principles of separation between&#13;
religion and politics on Brazilian constitutions and state secularization processes.&#13;
Furthermore, the research aims to reveal how Westphalian principles of separation&#13;
between religion and politics gradually influenced aspects of modern constitutions with&#13;
impacts on Brazilian constitutions and state secularization processes. The concluded&#13;
thesis is that religious tolerance constitutes a socially constructed moral epistemology&#13;
through public reflective processes, providing foundations for democratic coexistence&#13;
in plural societies, with religious tolerance positivized in constitutional texts being the&#13;
reflective endorsement as a source of its normativity.

<link>http://dspace.est.edu.br:8080/jspui/handle/BR-SlFE/1260</link>
In a globalized world marked by savage capitalism, rationalism, utilitarianism, consumerism, colonialisms, and colonialities, this research, is being developed stemming from decolonial studies and the perspective of theological hermeneutics. It contributes to breaking with a reductionist interpretation that only considers Christianity and Christian theology as producers and legitimizers of coloniality and colonization. It reinforces the theological prophetic character by denouncing injustices, violence, subjugation, and reductionisms that tend to destroy divine Creation, while announcing new eschata, kairotic moments of destruction of ills and proclamation of new life. To this end, we aim to compose and savor a theo-decolonial reading of the poetry of Manoel de Barros (in memoriam), a true poetic fool, cholo, and vagabond. The methodology used to achieve this purpose is anthropophagy, a product of the Brazilian modernist movement, particularly through the lens of the poet Oswald de Andrade. This decolonial journey and experience dates back to many indigenous peoples in Brazil well before the arrival of European colonizers. Furthermore, some methodological approaches to theopoetics in the reception of Manoel de Barros's work will be considered, as well as others derived from decolonial studies. At the end of this journey, the childlike nature of the word will be presented; the Eucharistic communion with the earth, with the offal, the insignificant, and the useless; and the recognition of the insufficiency, partiality, and provisionality of theological discourse as expressions of theopoetic dialogue in Manoel de Barros, providing a decolonial expression of Christian theology. This will result in a decolonial expression based on a theological reading, which corroborates the perception and argument that it is possible to produce, from Christian theology, expressions consistent with decoloniality.

<link>http://dspace.est.edu.br:8080/jspui/handle/BR-SlFE/1259</link>
The relationship between the anthropological conceptions that human beings structure has repercussions on theological conceptions, which have implications for the liturgical and structural aspects of faith communities. Therefore, this thesis focuses on the Lutheran anthropology that developed throughout the structuring of Lutheranism, especially the Lutheranism of the Lutheran World Federation. The topics to be reflected upon are three cross-cutting themes that are an essential part of theological anthropology: the conception of the creation of the human being: woman and man in relation to God; sin, its meaning and implications; and finally, the freedom of this particular human being. Theological reflection, rather than viewed from a doctrinal perspective, is intertwined with the historical implications and systematic development of themes of faith. For this reason, theological thought on these points since Martin Luther will be studied first, and then the Lutheran conception will be examined, addressing these three themes for reflection. However, the reflection on Lutheranism will be divided into two major historical moments, primarily considering the sociocultural events that influenced the eras and allowed for a different approach to human life as an individual, as well as to humanity in society. Finally, within this current Lutheranism, we will offer some contributions and initiatives for reflection on the feminine aspect of pneumatology in relation to the theological anthropology of Lutheranism.

<link>http://dspace.est.edu.br:8080/jspui/handle/BR-SlFE/1258</link>
In recent decades, social, economic, technological and geopolitical transformations on a global scale have profoundly impacted the ways of being and acting of individuals, generating a context marked by transience and triggering an identity crisis. This reality is also manifested in the Seventh-day Adventist Church – a Protestant Christian denomination that emerged in the context of the Millerite movement in the 19th century, promoting biblical faith and integral well-being through education, health and humanitarian mission. The life of the church depends on the dedicated and selfless work of pastors, whose ministerial identity is shaped by a historical legacy left by the pioneers and by a clear and contemporary ministerial policy, widely presented in the Bachelor's Degree Courses in Adventist Theology. This study investigates the historical foundations of the identity of the Adventist ministry. The aim of this study is to recover the identity principles defended by the denomination, taking as its research object the historical space of construction of the Adventist ministerial identity and relating it to the initial training processes of candidates for pastors in Adventist Theology colleges in Brazil, through the analysis of the Pedagogical Projects of the Course (PPC). The research problem that guides the work asks: what characteristics of the Adventist ministerial identity are preserved in the elaboration of the curriculum of the Bachelor's Degree in Theology courses (SALT/UNASP-EC, SALT/UNIAENE, SALT/FAAMA, SALT/FAP)? The empirical material was composed of the Political Pedagogical Project of the Bachelor's Degree in Theology courses of the Adventist Seminaries in Brazil, namely: Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo (SALT/UNASP-EC), Faculdade Adventista da Bahia (SALT/UNIAENE), Faculdade Adventista da Amazônia (SALT/FAAMA) and Instituto Adventista Paranaense (SALT/FAP). The theoretical framework of the thesis is based, firstly, on classic and contemporary works that deal with the historical formation of the Adventist ministry, pastoral identity and theology courses in Brazil. The research dialogues with historical contributions from Richard W. Schwarz, Floyd Greenleaf, Ellen G. White and other authors, such as Wellington Vedovello Barbosa and Russel Burrill. Secondly, it explores sociological and psychological perspectives of scholars such as Stuart Hall, Zygmunt Bauman, Manuel Castells, Claude Dubar and George Herbert Mead, to address the construction and challenges of pastoral identity in contemporary times. This documentary research is based on Laurence Bardin's content analysis methodology. The results indicate that the theology courses mentioned follow the National Curricular Guidelines, aiming to prepare pastors and missionaries committed to serving the Church, with an emphasis on evangelism, training members for mission and pastoral care. Furthermore, the results highlighted the need for training that is more attentive to multicultural urban contexts, as well as the proposal to expand the course to five years, including a pastoral internship focused on caring for the church community and improving biblical preaching. These approaches aim to align academic training and ministerial practice with contemporary demands and the mission of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
