Abstract:
This study consists in analyzing the social exclusion of children and adolescents with high abilities from the perspective of Psycho-Pedagogy. The selected documents were analyzed according to the theme of this research, being chosen those which in fact contributed to this research. One perceived during this research that a super-gifted individual who has not had an adequate treatment in infancy, presents behaviors and limitations, especially in language, depriving him or herself of important experiences for motor and social development. Therefore, it is indispensable that characteristics of super-giftedness be recognized so as to be able to understand the impact of these disorders concomitantly identifying the etiology and understand its origin, this being a result of a disorder of neurodevelopment. Methods of evaluation of the characteristics of super-giftedness should be used, observing the problems which occur on the social, family, academic, behavioral and sensorial levels, focusing on adequate interventions so as to be able to work more effectively with these difficulties. The process of inclusion of super-gifted children and adolescents must start with this identification to be possible, based on this, to promote actions which can make this inclusion effective, reducing the problems which involve this subject. One can say at the end of this study that the knowledge and awareness raising of the people is an essential factor.
