Resumen:
This thesis aims to present, based on the Epistolary of Teresa de Jesus, elements for a proposal for a spiritual accompaniment itinerary. The first part deals with the process of Teresa in the quest for existential meaning. Especially influenced by the Works of Saint Agostine, Master Eckhart and Francis of Osuna, Teresa has her mystical experience based on the humanity of Christ, thus arriving at the profound encounter with the Trinity. The sharing of her experiences of the encounter with the sacred favored the emergence of the Teresan writings, among them: Vida, Caminho de Perfeição e Moradas [Life, Way of Perfection and Dwellings]. From the extract of her letters directed to family members, nuns and people of her relations, there emerges a great variety of subjects from daily life, such as orientation for prayer, organization of foundations, spiritual accompaniment. In the second part of this work, Teresa is presented as a teacher, proposing a spiritual itinerary, characterized by discernment and the quest for truth, which leads her to human and spiritual integration. In the last part, Teresa is presented as a mystagogue, since, from her existential learning and from the orientation of her confessors, she accompanies and encourages people in the path of prayer, orientating them in the steps toward their decisions and offering strategies for spiritual accompaniment.
