Resumo:
Adolescence is an important stage of transition between childhood and adulthood and, through the Brazilian panorama of many adolescents in situations of social vulnerability, this research is presented with community education and its relevance in the human formation of adolescents through care as its main objective. Community education can be observed in its breadth, both in the diversity of contexts, formal or non-formal, as well as methodologies. In non-formal environments like churches, there is an important relationship between education and faith, which distances youth from situations of vulnerability. In this way, faith can be understood as a very relevant mechanism in community education and an integrative element between it and theology. Therefore, the research will be oriented towards the formation of being in its integrality, addressing pedagogical and theological aspects. Initially, the investigation seeks to understand the phenomenon of adolescence, its conception in the contemporary family, the formation of identity, faith, social interactions and understanding of the contexts of social vulnerability. Subsequently, research advances for the knowledge on community education, its assumptions, as well as the characteristics of teaching and its implications. The study also deepens the understanding of care, as a practice inherent to the human being and an important element of this educational dimension. In a world in crisis, there is a primordial need to construct a new ethos, which will guide educational actions for this perspective of care and social responsibility. As a research product or study oriented to the construction of a social intervention project in the area of musical education, given that music is a practice that involves the human being from birth, being present in the most diverse cultures, groups and communities, being an important part of human spirituality. In this sense, in addition to understanding all the theoretical references that underpin community education and care ethics, it will also provide alternatives through methodologies that can be presented as important mechanisms for the transformation of the realities in which many adolescents live in Brazil
