Abstract:
The present study aims to analyze the importance of the writings of John chapter 9 as the basis of a debate related to inclusion/exclusion within the school space, presenting awareness mechanisms that favor equal opportunities, respect free of prejudice and segregation. Through the analysis of the Gospel of John 9, we seek to propose a reflection on this unsustainable reality, in order to promote changes and answer crucial questions. Therefore, we seek to modify the unsustainability of the situation and get involved so that we can seek changes by elucidating the problem of this study: How can the inclusion of people with disabilities at school be understood based on John 9? The inclusion of people with disabilities in the school space is discussed and the challenges of a pedagogy of inclusion are addressed and considerations are also made about inclusive education, seeking to establish a dialogue with the text of the Gospel of John 9. Topics such as exclusion, prejudice are discussed. and violence faced by these people at school, as well as the importance of integration in the educational context. Furthermore, the reorganization of schools and the role of teachers in teaching inclusion are explored. Finally, the pericope of the Gospel of John 9 is highlighted as inspiration for inclusion. After analyzing all the chapters and topics covered in the study, it is concluded that the exclusion of people with disabilities can be reduced, as long as the school is prepared to face inclusion issues, that teachers have adequate training conditions and the laws are assertive and complied with. However, it is necessary that people be also aware of their duties as welcoming and respectful, to guarantee a more just and fraternal society, so that true exclusions can be combatted.
