Fatores psicossociais e adesão de discentes à prática do ensino religioso

Abstract

This study aims to present a bibliographic review on the contributions of the religious education curricular component to the student's education, in general. It is assumed that many factors are directly involved with the discipline in the student's integral education, thus becoming an indispensable contribution to this education. Furthermore, from the perspective of psychology, it is evident that the student can learn to better deal with his/her emotions, with his/her conflicts and, also, develop from the perspective of faith. Therefore, the general objective is to evaluate the relevance of the religious education component in the student's integral education and its contributions. Furthermore, to present an investigative analysis on human development from the perspective of education, as well as affective-emotional, social and faith as well as from the perspective of factors related to the formation of identity, cognitive and emotional maturation, as well as changes in interpersonal relationships that promote religious engagement. The methodology used in this work was bibliographic research with the purpose of analyzing all the factors that can contribute to the student's education having received the support of the aforementioned curricular component. The study was based on materials such as books, scientific articles, among others, by renowned authors who researched the topic. This investigation also relies on psychology studies to help understand the contributions of religious education in the formation of individuals. As a result, it can be inferred that, during school life, with the support of the religious education discipline, the student will be better prepared to deal with the adversities presented during life, will develop critical thinking, tolerance and empathy, and will also be better prepared to deal with psychosocial factors, which inevitably arise in human life. In addition, it shows the indispensability of religious education as a curricular component in the school environment.
